Hello I'm Abigail.R.Thurkauf

I’m currently at Elmira College with the Class of ’28, majoring in Art with a focus in Art Therapy. I’m originally from Parsippany, NJ, where I volunteer with the Parsippany Volunteer First Aid Squad. In high school, I served as the VP of Communication and the Outreach Officer for the Parsippany High School robotics teams. Here at Elmira, I’m also a member of the Purple Iris a Capella group.

My motto in life is to help others and to leave my mark on this world. With my art work that exactly what I plan to do!

About Photography 1

In Photography 1 I learned how to use PhotoShop, different ways to take photos with my phone, how to take photos with a film camera and how to use a dark room!

I am very in to mixed media and action photography so it is very hard for me to pick one art profession but I will definitely be using what I learned in my future work and study.
